Crunchy, savory bacon combines with sweet, spicy hot honey in this delightful side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels Sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 6 slices Bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Hot Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts and chopped bacon on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sprouts are crispy and the bacon is cooked through.
  5. Remove from the oven and drizzle with hot honey, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the honey.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional hot honey if desired.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and add nuts for crunch. Can be served with various main courses or as part of a vegetarian spread.
