Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 medium zucchini, grated and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, grated zucchini, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until smooth: Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated and you get a cohesive, slightly sticky mixture.
  3. Shape into patties: Shape the mixture into patties, about 4 inches wide.
  4. Heat the grill: Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the patties: Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden-brown crust and cooked through.
  6. Serve with style: Serve the patties on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Leftover patties can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, use a skillet with a touch of olive oil.
