A fun and customizable take on traditional tacos, served in chip bags for a unique dining experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag corn tortilla chips
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Optional: jalapeños, olives, avocado

Instructions

  1. Sauté the meat in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Season the meat with taco seasoning and water as directed on the packet; allow to simmer.
  3. Prepare the chips by crushing them slightly, just enough to create a base.
  4. Build the taco by adding seasoned meat on top of the chips, then layer with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, and sour cream.
  5. Add optional toppings like jalapeños, olives, or avocado to personal preference.
  6. Enjoy your Walking Taco directly from the bag!

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers; the seasoned meat can stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days.
