Delicious Twix Cookie Bars with a buttery shortbread base, gooey caramel layer, and rich chocolate topping, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Combine the flour and salt into the butter and sugar mix, blending until well combined.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Cool slightly before proceeding.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce evenly over the warm shortbread layer.
  8. Melt chocolate chips and pour over the caramel layer for an even coating.
  9. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes
