A lighter twist on traditional tacos, these Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps are packed with flavor and perfect for health-conscious diners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 head of romaine or butter lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • Salsa (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, draining any excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning to the turkey and follow the packet instructions.
  3. Wash and separate the lettuce leaves; these will be your wraps.
  4. Spoon the seasoned turkey mixture into the lettuce leaves.
  5. Customize your wraps with diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, onions, and avocado; add salsa for extra zest!
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your fresh, flavorful wraps!

Notes

For added flavor, sauté garlic and bell peppers with the turkey. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
