Delicious and heart-healthy turkey meatballs perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep, packed with flavor and comforting aromas.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Simmer the cooked meatballs in the sauce for an additional 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftover meatballs can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for up to three months.
