A one-pan wonder that harmonizes flavors and textures, featuring succulent crab meat and aromatic jasmine rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1 cup mixed fresh vegetables (like peas, carrots, and bell peppers)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  3. Push the vegetables to the side of the pan and add the crab meat, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked jasmine rice to the pan, mixing it with the vegetables and crab.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, fish sauce, and lime juice, stirring to combine everything evenly.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the rice to heat through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

For an authentic Thai experience, serve with cucumber salad or spicy Thai chili sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
