A delectable skillet dish featuring chicken breasts coated in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine the Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Prep the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
  3. Sauté the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Deglaze the Skillet: Remove the chicken from the skillet and add the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Add the prepared garlic butter mixture to the skillet and stir until melted and fully incorporated.
  6. Coat the Chicken: Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over each piece.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
