These Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls are a comforting breakfast delight that combines soft dough with juicy strawberries, topped with creamy icing.

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the softened butter, milk, and egg to the dry mix. Blend until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Roll out your dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  4. Spread the chopped strawberries evenly over the dough.
  5. Combine the ground cinnamon and brown sugar, then sprinkle over the strawberries.
  6. Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, sealing the edges.
  7. Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch pieces.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth for icing.
  10. Drizzle the icing over the warm rolls and enjoy!
