A quick and delicious recipe for sticky garlic chicken noodles that can be made in less than 20 minutes, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Chicken Breast (can substitute with shrimp, beef, or tofu)
  • 8 ounces Noodles (use rice noodles, egg noodles, or spaghetti)
  • 1 cup Soy Sauce (substitute with tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (increase for thicker sauce)
  • 2 cups Vegetables (consider bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, or carrots)
  • 2 tablespoons Oil (for tossing noodles and enhancing flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Noodles: Cook your choice of noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine diced chicken breast with soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and cornstarch. Allow it to marinate for about 5 minutes.
  3. Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add in the Veggies: Toss in your selected vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  5. Combine Noodles and Sauce: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the chicken and vegetables. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Dish up the sticky garlic chicken noodles in bowls and enjoy immediately!

Notes

For additional flavor, consider sprinkling sesame seeds or green onions on top before serving.
