A delicious and customizable dish featuring marinated flank steak, vibrant vegetables, and topped with fresh lime and cilantro.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cilantro for garnish
  • Rice or quinoa to serve
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill or sear the marinated steak for 5-7 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  3. Rest the steak for a few minutes before slicing.
  4. Sauté the sliced bell pepper and onion in the same pan until soft and caramelized, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Assemble the bowls with sliced steak over rice or quinoa, topped with vegetables, fresh cilantro, and lime wedges.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the steak overnight. Customize with different proteins or vegetables as desired.
