A comforting pasta dish featuring fettuccine coated in a creamy Alfredo sauce with smoky sausage and garlic, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Brown the sliced smoked sausage until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Simmer in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Melt the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Combine the cooked fettuccine with the sauce, tossing to coat.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes
