A delightful fusion of smash burgers and tacos, combining juicy beef, fresh toppings, and soft tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 4 small tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Ketchup and mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  3. Smash the beef balls onto the hot skillet with a spatula to form thick patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave until pliable.
  6. Assemble the tacos with a patty on each tortilla, and top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and optional toppings.
  7. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Store any leftovers in separate airtight containers for up to 3 days. Reheat patties in a skillet.
