A quick and delicious shrimp scampi bowl with garlic, butter, and pasta that brings restaurant-quality flavors to your home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Crispy garlic bread (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic by melting the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook the shrimp by adding to the skillet and cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add the wine, if using, and let it simmer for a couple of minutes to reduce slightly.
  5. Toss in the pasta with the shrimp and garlic sauce until well combined. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve the shrimp scampi over pasta, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Accompany with crispy garlic bread.

Notes

Use fresh or properly thawed shrimp and cook pasta al dente for the best texture. Feel free to add more spices or vegetables to adapt the recipe.
