A delightful dish combining succulent shrimp with vibrant vegetables and fluffy rice, featuring a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce by mixing honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Sauté the shrimp in a large skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  3. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes, ensuring all shrimp are coated.
  4. Sauté the bell peppers and broccoli in another pan until tender.
  5. Serve the glazed shrimp over rice topped with sautéed vegetables.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Make sure to pat the shrimp dry before cooking. Adjust sweetness of sauce to taste. Frozen shrimp can be used if thawed completely.
