A delightful dish that combines the nutty essence of sesame oil with the fresh zing of ginger, creating a comforting meal perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into cubes.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and honey in a bowl.
  3. Marinate the tofu in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Cook the marinated tofu in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and stir to combine.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
