Deliciously roasted Brussels sprouts that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned to perfection with garlic and balsamic vinegar.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves.
  3. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through cooking.
  6. Add minced garlic or drizzle balsamic vinegar during the last 5 minutes of roasting if desired.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure Brussels sprouts are dry before tossing in oil to achieve maximum crispiness.
