A rich and delightful Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake with creamy filling and crunchy Oreo crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup red velvet cake mix
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreos for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Combine Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter; press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add in vanilla extract, mix well.
  5. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  6. Mix in sour cream and red velvet cake mix, mixing until well combined.
  7. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly wobbly.
  9. Cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  10. Top with crushed Oreos before serving.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
