Delightful bite-sized Tiramisu Balls that capture the rich flavors of traditional tiramisu, perfect for parties and gatherings.

  • 1 package ladyfingers (crushed finely)
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup espresso or strong coffee
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp rum or coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1 pinch salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the ladyfingers in a food processor or a zip-top bag using a rolling pin until sandy.
  2. Brew a cup of rich, strong coffee or espresso and allow it to cool slightly.
  3. Blend the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl until creamy.
  4. Combine gradually the crushed ladyfingers into the mascarpone mixture. Add the cooled espresso and optional rum or coffee liqueur, mixing until combined.
  5. Roll about a tablespoon of the mixture into balls.
  6. Dust the balls in cocoa powder for a classic finish.
  7. Chill the rolled balls on a parchment-lined tray for at least 1 hour.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

These can be made a day in advance for convenience. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
