  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)
  • Ketchup (for serving)
  • Mustard (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly dust your work surface with flour and roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  3. Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide and long enough to wrap around each hot dog.
  4. Wrap each hot dog with a strip of puff pastry and ensure the edges are sealed well.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs on a lined baking sheet, leaving space for the pastry to puff up.
  6. Brush the pastries with the beaten egg wash for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until deep golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve hot with toppings like mustard and ketchup.

Notes
