Delightful pork potstickers with a crispy bottom and flavorful filling of ground pork, ginger, and garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 30 dumpling wrappers
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the flavorful filling: In a bowl, combine ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Prepare the dumpling wrappers: Place a dumpling wrapper in your hand and add a teaspoon of the filling in the center.
  3. Seal the dumplings: Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it over to create a half-moon shape. Pinch the edges to seal.
  4. Preheat the skillet: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Get that golden brown color: Place potstickers in the skillet and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Steam to perfection: Add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan and cover with a lid. Cook until the water has evaporated and the potstickers are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Serve with joy: Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

Always moisten the sealing edges to avoid leaks. Don’t overcrowd the skillet for even cooking.
