A beautifully glazed ham that is a festive centerpiece, combining sweetness from honey and brown sugar with the tanginess of Dijon mustard and the tropical notes of pineapple.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 810 pounds)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple slices (canned or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Cloves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Mix together the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
  3. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern and place it in a roasting pan.
  4. Brush the honey mixture all over the ham, then arrange pineapple slices on top.
  5. Insert cloves into the scored areas of the ham for garnish.
  6. Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting occasionally.
  7. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  8. Let the ham rest for 15 minutes after removing it from the oven.
  9. Slice the ham and serve warm alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

This ham pairs well with roasted vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, and warm dinner rolls. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
