A delicious combination of Philly cheesesteak flavors served on crispy waffle fries, perfect for cozy nights and gatherings.

  • 1 pound thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices White American cheese (or provolone, mozzarella, or cheddar)
  • 1 pound frozen waffle fries
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil, for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Bake the waffle fries according to the package instructions until golden brown and crispy, then set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  3. Push the vegetables to one side and add the steak, seasoning with garlic salt and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Arrange the cheese over the steak and veggie mixture, cover, and let melt for about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Spread the cooked waffle fries on a serving platter and top with the cheesy steak mixture.
