Cook the steak by pushing the vegetables to the side and adding the steak to the skillet. Season with garlic salt and black pepper, cooking for 3-4 minutes until browned.
Melt the cheese over the steak and vegetable mixture. Cover and let melt for about 1-2 minutes.
Combine the cheesy steak mixture with the waffle fries on a large serving platter.
