A comforting dish of penne pasta adorned with rich cream, crispy bacon, and vibrant peas.

Ingredients

  • Penne pasta
  • Peas
  • Bacon
  • Cream
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and then minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Bring the peas into the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cooked pasta and bacon, then add cream and Parmesan, mixing well.
  6. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan or cracked pepper.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a pinch of red pepper flakes.
