A legendary dish of plump oysters topped with a golden crust of herbs, breadcrumbs, and cheese, perfect for any seafood lover.

Ingredients

  • 12 oysters, shucked
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped shallots
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped spinach
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped shallots and minced garlic, sautéing until softened.
  4. Stir in chopped spinach and parsley until wilted.
  5. Remove from heat and mix in breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Place shucked oysters on a baking tray and spoon the topping over each.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.
