A hearty one-skillet pasta dish featuring Cajun sausage in a creamy garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Cajun sausage, sliced
  • 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced Cajun sausage and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and Cajun seasoning; cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Add pasta, reduce heat to simmer, and cook for 10-12 minutes until al dente.
  6. Mix in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Adjust spice level as needed.
