A hearty one-pan meal featuring tender steak bites in a creamy cheddar pasta, seasoned with a zesty Cajun kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 8 ounces pasta (cheddar or elbow pasta)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a large pan.
  2. Season the steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the seasoned steak to the pan and cook until browned.
  4. Remove the steak from the pan and set it aside.
  5. Cook the pasta in the same pan with enough water according to package directions.
  6. Drain any excess water from the pasta.
  7. Add the heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese to the pasta, stirring until creamy.
  8. Return the seared steak to the pan, mixing well with the pasta and sauce.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add hot sauce or extra Cajun seasoning. Can swap steak for shrimp or chicken, and add vegetables for extra nutrition.
