Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4 breasts)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp real butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather and measure all your ingredients. Mince the garlic and chop the parsley.
  2. Seasoning the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry, then season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Searing the Chicken: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Sear chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  4. Sautéing the Garlic: Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Cooking the Noodles: Pour in chicken broth, bring to a simmer. Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, about 7-10 minutes.
  6. Bringing It All Together: Return the chicken to the skillet, simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnishing and Serving: Finish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
