A classic summer dish featuring shrimp, corn, and potatoes seasoned with Old Bay, perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, deveined
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 quarts water
  • 1 pound new potatoes, halved
  • 1 pound corn on the cob, cut into halves
  • 1 lemon, quartered
  • Optional: sausage, cut into chunks

Instructions

  1. Bring the 4 quarts of water and 1/4 cup of Old Bay seasoning to a vigorous boil in a large pot.
  2. Add the halved new potatoes to the boiling mixture and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until tender.
  3. Introduce the corn and optional sausage into the pot, cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the deveined shrimp to the pot and cook for just 2-3 minutes, until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Drain the mixture into a colander and serve on a newspaper-lined table or large platter with quartered lemon.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread and coleslaw. Provide extra Old Bay seasoning for additional flavor.
