A comforting classic, this meatloaf is enriched with savory flavors and topped with creamy mushroom gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, ketchup, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Prepare the mushroom gravy by heating the cream of mushroom soup with sliced mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan.
  5. Pour the mushroom gravy over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
  7. Rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
