A rich and creamy Mushroom Bisque that brings warmth and comfort, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sautéing the onions: In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until it becomes translucent.
  2. <strong/Mixing in garlic and mushrooms: Stir in the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms become soft.
  3. Simmering with broth: Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 20 minutes.
  4. Blending to perfection: Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until it’s smooth.
  5. Final touch with cream: Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Heat through gently.
