  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Rub them with vegetable oil and sprinkle with the spice mixture.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the seasoned fish, cooking for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until opaque.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds per side until pliable.
  5. Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, and lime zest in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing cabbage on each tortilla, topping with fish, avocado slices, cilantro, and drizzling with lime crema.
