Juicy, herb-infused chicken patties with feta cheese, inspired by Mediterranean flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients in a large mixing bowl: ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties, roughly the size of your palm.
  3. Heat a generous amount of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through.
  5. Serve the patties warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
