Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in size, and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, boil the potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add milk, butter, minced garlic, salt, and mash until smooth and creamy.
  7. Serve the meatballs on a plate with a side of garlic mashed potatoes.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in some chopped vegetables into the meat mixture or use ground turkey for a lighter version.
