Delicious sliders that combine sweet maple syrup, crispy bacon, and tender shredded chicken, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Combine shredded chicken, chopped bacon, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  5. Divide the chicken mixture over the bottom halves of the buns and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Place the bun tops over the mixture and brush with melted butter.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
