A comforting dish that combines tender chicken breasts with crispy bacon and a luscious maple-garlic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) so it’s hot and ready for the chicken.
  2. Cook the slices of bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet with leftover bacon drippings and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour the maple syrup into the skillet, stirring and cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear in a separate pan with olive oil until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer the seared chicken into a baking dish, top with crumbled bacon, and drizzle with maple garlic sauce.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and juices run clear.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°F (75°C). Adjust sweetness by reducing maple syrup if desired.
