A warm and creamy casserole combining the flavors of a cheeseburger in a low-carb dish that is perfect for meal planning.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Combine the cooked beef, crumbled bacon, softened cream cheese, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and beaten eggs in a large bowl.
  4. Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the meat mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  6. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Cool slightly before serving and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Serve with a leafy green salad or roasted vegetables. Leftovers can be stored for up to 5 days in the fridge.
