A delightful and simple dish featuring succulent salmon fillets cooked in a rich lemon garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet by heating a skillet over medium heat and adding in the butter.
  2. Sauté the minced garlic to the melted butter for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Season your salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the salmon skin-side down for about 5 minutes until the skin becomes crispy and golden.
  5. Flip the salmon fillets over and drizzle the fresh lemon juice and zest over them.
  6. Finish cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes or roasted asparagus. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
