Crispy bites of fish enhanced by a drizzle of lemon juice and rich butter, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon zest (for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice (for aioli)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fish: Pat the fresh fish fillets dry and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Season and Dredge: Mix together flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Dredge fish in flour mixture.
  3. Heat the Butter: In a skillet, melt unsalted butter over medium heat.
  4. Fry the Fish Bites: Add dredged fish to the skillet and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Drain and Drizzle: Transfer fish bites to paper towels and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
  6. Prepare the Aioli: Whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and seasoning.
  7. Plate and Garnish: Arrange fish on a platter and garnish with lemon juice, parsley, and lemon zest.

Notes

Ensure your fish is as fresh as possible for the best flavor. Can substitute fish with shrimp or chicken.
