A comforting Italian dish that brings home-cooked goodness with gooey cheese and savory fillings.

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni
  • Italian seasonings
  • Marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Layer the mozzarella cheese and pepperoni evenly over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle Italian seasonings on top of the cheese and pepperoni.
  5. Roll the dough from one end to form a log.
  6. Transfer the rolled Stromboli onto a baking sheet.
  7. Slide the Stromboli into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
  9. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Experiment with different fillings like veggies or other meats. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for a month.
