A delightful Italian sandwich featuring layers of meats, creamy mozzarella, pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes, perfect for a satisfying lunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 Ciabatta roll
  • 1 tablespoon pesto sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 slices fresh mozzarella
  • 3 slices ham
  • 1 slice salami
  • 1 slice cracked black pepper salami
  • 1 slice pepperoni
  • 1 slice turkey pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat your toaster oven to a comfortable setting, about 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the ciabatta roll in half and place it in the toaster oven.
  3. Toast it until it becomes golden brown.
  4. Spread the pesto sauce generously on the top half of the ciabatta roll.
  5. Layer the chopped sun-dried tomatoes on the bottom half.
  6. Stack the ham, salami, cracked black pepper salami, pepperoni, and turkey pepperoni in that order.
  7. Finish the stack with the two slices of fresh mozzarella.
  8. Return the filled bottom half of the ciabatta back to the toaster oven until the cheese has melted, about 2-3 minutes.
  9. Remove the bottom half and place the top half back on. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Pair with a light side salad or crispy potato chips. Store leftovers in foil for up to 2 days.
