Delicious cream cheese jalapeño poppers with crispy bacon for an irresistible appetizer.

  • 12 to 14 large jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half generously with the creamy mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the reserved crumbled bacon over the filled jalapeños and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Notes

Serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
