A delightful twist on classic mac and cheese with succulent chicken and a sweet honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breasts
  • Olive oil
  • Honey
  • Minced garlic
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Optional: Ginger
  • Optional: Cornstarch
  • Optional: Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger (if using); whisk until blended.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and pour the honey garlic mixture into the pan; simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it in the sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired and serve warm.

Notes
