A comforting dish combining creamy cheese sauce and tender pasta shells, perfect for any time of the day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pasta shells
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells in salted water until al dente, about 7-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until bubbling.
  3. Add the flour, stirring constantly until it forms a smooth roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, until thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until melted and smooth.
  6. Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked pasta shells, ensuring even coating.
