Succulent pork belly marinated in a sweet and tangy hoisin sauce, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.

  • 1 lb pork belly, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Create the flavorful marinade by combining hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  3. Coat the pork belly pieces in the marinade until well coated.
  4. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place the coated pork belly on it.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until caramelized and crispy, flipping halfway through if necessary.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the pork belly for a few hours or overnight. Adjust honey to taste.
