A hearty and healthy ground turkey skillet recipe that’s packed with flavor and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in chopped bell pepper and cook for another 3-4 minutes until it begins to soften.
  4. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  5. Stir in the canned diced tomatoes, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  6. Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For a depth of flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or chili powder. Feel free to swap the veggies based on your preferences.
