Delicious and customizable taco bowls made with ground turkey, colorful veggies, and topped with your favorite ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup corn, canned or frozen
  • 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado, shredded cheese, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  2. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, stirring occasionally for even cooking.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, corn, and black beans. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, letting the flavors meld together beautifully.
  4. In bowls, layer cooked rice, the turkey mixture, and top with salsa and preferred toppings. Serve warm and enjoy!
