A quick and easy skillet dish combining savory ground beef, fresh spinach, and tangy feta cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the oil. Sauté until golden brown and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart, until nicely browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  5. Mix in the crumbled feta cheese, removing the skillet from heat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and serve warm.

Notes

Drain any excess fat after browning the beef if necessary. Fresh spinach yields a better texture and color. Don’t skip the feta; it’s key to enhancing the dish’s flavor.
