A simple and flavorful recipe for grilled tuna steaks, marinated with zesty lemon and fresh herbs, bringing a taste of summer to your dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Herbs (such as thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, allowing it to reach the ideal grilling temperature for those perfect grill marks.
  2. Mix the marinade by combining olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Marinate the tuna steaks in the bowl, ensuring they are well-coated with the marinade for about 30 minutes.
  4. Grill the tuna steaks on the hot grill, giving each steak some room to breathe and not overcrowding the grill.
  5. Sear the tuna steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side, aiming for beautifully seared yet tender and slightly pink centers.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving for added color and flavor.

Notes

Pair with a light cucumber salad or roasted vegetables. Chill white wine or sparkling water with lemon is a great accompaniment.
